The kicker is that Trade jobs are in high demand and in danger of becoming a slowing industry in the future. We absolutely need more skilled trade people for the future. This money will likely be funded away most black and brown areas though.

Why invest in skilled trades when the American god, capitalism, will just find new ways to avoid paying people a living wage??
There’s a reason exploited immigrants harvest crops, businesses don’t want to pay Americans enough to do that job. We don’t make cars here in America anymore for the same reason. It doesn’t matter how many skilled people we have here in America, capitalism will still have us import programmers from India, nurses from the Philippines, construction workers from Mexico, and they’ll all be underpaid to drive corporate profits.
They keep pretending to fix the issues.
